BOARDING EXPERIENCE

Pampered Pets is a fun place for dogs to socialize and stay overnight when their parents are away! Boarding at Pampered Pets offers supervised off-leash socialization & play for 8 hours a day. Our facility is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your pets safety!

Pampered Pets is not right for all dogs. While it’s great that dogs may get more exercise at Pampered Pets than at other boarding facilities, you must consider what your dog would be most comfortable with. Dogs who have extreme kennel stress, have never been around other dogs or really don’t like being around them, are aggressive or fearful of new dogs and/or humans, have health issues or physical limitations, or are advanced in age generally will not thrive in a social boarding environment like ours.

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

 

​By Iowa Law, all dogs 6 months of age or older must be spayed or neutered in order to be boarded.  All dogs must complete a temperament evaluation prior to beginning boarding services.

 

Please bring completed intake application to your dog's temperament evaluation.  Application is linked below for download.  Dogs exhibiting aggression, especially to toys and food, will not be allowed.  Pampered Pets strives to provide a safe and healthy environment for all clients and their employees.

WHAT TO BRING?

We require that you send along your dog’s own food for their boarding trip — to keep your dog’s digestive track as normal as possible. An abrupt change in food can cause diarrhea, vomiting, and overall intestinal distress.

​

Please bring your dog's food in reasonably sized containers  based on their length of stay.

​

Other than food and leash, nothing else is required!  At Pampered Pets, we strive to give every client a stress-free and fun experience!
